I’ve always liked writing my own content because my way of thinking is what sets me apart from others.
I don’t think I’m better than anyone else, I know I’m different, like we all are.
However, I use AI to edit my work because it helps correct the small mistakes I make when I write quickly.
I’ve developed three ways to use AI to edit my content.
Don’t get me wrong, I’ve experimented with using AI to create content from scratch, but it didn’t work out as I’d hoped.
Experimenting and results
I thought before letting AI write for me, to experiment.
So February, when I was starting to be active on Twitter, I decided to share one week with my own content and the second week with AI and this is the result:

First Week with my content
- 16,900 impression
- 20 profile visit
- 144 engagement
- 1 bookmarks

Second week with AI content
- 6.600 impressions
- 25 profile visits
- 103 engagements
- 0 bookmark
This shows that people prefer more human content.
The way we see things creates a unique point of view that stands out from the generic content AI writes.
Sure, the more trained an AI becomes, the better it will write, but for now, our human touch still has the edge.
We can’t avoid AI, and learning how to use it will set us apart from those who don’t.
The real question is how you use it, and I’m going to share how I do it.
How do I edit my written newsletter?
This image shows how I wrote the text above. As you can see, there are grammatical errors, extra small words, and some sentences are poorly structured.

Below the blue line, you can see the prompt I used to correct it.
The goal is to keep my content intact, but correct it where needed without changing my core message.
Here is the result:

I never correct the whole newsletter post at once. Instead, I write each heading title’s content, correct it, and add the images I need.
I noticed it’s hard for AI to write long form content or edit it the way I want, so this is the solution that works for me.
How I edit my handwritten notes
This is one of the best hacks I found.
I write notes whenever an Idea come to me, those notes are usually a draft of a content Idea that I will dive deeper on and start doing some research to give some valid foundation.

But I had a problem I had to write all over again to do the research.
So I needed to find a solution and that is when AI come in to the picture
One day I take a picture of the written notes.
I paste them on Chatgpt and ask it to rewrite my notes.

I asked to write the prompt you see.
When AI is editing my content it’s important that it keeps my tone language, and my words

As you can see it keeps my content just better written.
My goal is to think and AI to assist me with the written part, as you should never let AI think for you.
That is when you lose the uniqueness of your content and sound like any other AI produced stuff.
How I Turn My Voice Comments Into Written Text
Right now you are reading content that I did not write, but what I did was I took ChatGPT, I clicked the mic, and then I started talking to it.

This is exactly how I comment on LinkedIn or sometimes on Twitter.
Let’s say I see a post that is interesting and I have my two cents to add, so what I do is I go to the comment, instead of writing my comment, I directly talk to ChatGPT and ask to write it.
The prompt is almost the same: to correct the grammatical errors and keep the language, the tone, and the words, no hyphens, get rid off small words.
Here is the results:

Never let AI think for you, the biggest asset is your thinking, that is what differentiate you from others.
That said AI is the best assistant you can have, it can help you find ideas, edit your content, analyze for you, and many other things.
Use it in the right way and you’ll be ahead of your competition.
